Cleaning and Care

For everyday cleaning:

• Wipe the board clean with a damp cloth.
• For a deeper clean, hand wash with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft sponge.
• Rinse quickly and dry immediately with a clean towel.
• Allow the board to finish air-drying upright before storing.

Important:

• Do not place the board in the dishwasher.
• Do not soak or fully submerge it in water.
• Do not use bleach or harsh chemical cleaners.
• Do not leave wet food or moisture sitting on the board for extended periods.
• Avoid placing extremely hot cookware directly on the board.

Removing Odors and Light Stains:

• Sprinkle coarse salt or baking soda over the surface.
• Gently scrub with half a lemon or a damp soft cloth.
• Wipe clean and dry immediately.

Maintaining the Finish:

• Apply food-grade mineral oil when the wood begins to look dry or faded.
• Spread a thin, even coat over the entire board.
• Allow the oil to absorb before wiping away any excess.
• Do not use cooking oils such as olive oil or vegetable oil — they may become rancid.
